I stayed a few extra days in Fort Lauderdale to hang out with Howard and we had big plans to hit the spa on Monday. That unfortunately did not happen…Howard was too busy at his office and after our late lunch it was too late to do anything so we just went and hung out at his house and ate dinner.

A few highlights of the day… nasty bacon flavored vodka called Bakon! (I am waiting on a video of me drinking a shot and nearly puking)

For lunch we went to Alibi and I have to admit that I was a little nervous about eating lunch in the bar we came to the other night. I was really trying to avoid eating bar type food, but was pleasantly surprised to inhale these “ahi nachos.” Several of my favorite things from a Japanese restaurant: ahi, sweet eel sauce, seaweed salad, crispy chips and topped with a cream sauce. Deeeeeelish. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Don’t judge a bar’s menu from the outside or from the shots you did there the other night.

I finally got Tyson to sit still for a few pictures, but like I always say…little dogs are afraid of things for very good reason. They are so squashable so easy.

Archie is also a little timid…he was rescued from 3 abusive homes before finding his place at Howard and John’s.
